D. Isabel Cole, D.V.M.,
formerly known as Delores Cole Lipton, is a native of Rockford, IL. She
earned her DVM from the University of Illinois in 1979 and opened
Lipton Animal Hospital in 1981. Dr. Cole is especially interested in
small animal opthalmology and the health problems facing the geriatric
pet and is certified in veterinary chiropractic. She is active in state
and local veterinary organizations, as well as being a master
naturalist, a member of a Gregorian Chant Choir, and volunteering as a
Court-Appointed Special Advocate. |

Ellen
Kuchenbrod, D.V.M., originally from Wisconsin, received her DVM from
the University of Illinois in 1977 and joined Lipton Animal Hospital in
1983. Dr. Ellen Kuchenbrod is a Certified Veterinary Acupuncturist and
is also educated in the use of herbal medicines and nutritional
supplements. She is the advisor to the student chapter of the American
Holistic Veterinary Medical Association, and frequently speaks at their
meetings. She serves as a reviewer of case reports for the
International Veterinary Acupuncture Society. She is also very active
in the Boy Scouts, serving on the Executive Board of the local council. |

Laurie Hester, Certified
Veterinary Technician, came to Lipton Animal Hospital in 1997. She is a
graduate of the veterinary technician program at Parkland College.
Laurie has a special interest in dentistry and also has an extensive
background in patient care, surgical preparation, assistance,
anesthesia and laboratory analysis. |

Danielle Wright and Arrin
Price are Veterinary Assistants trained by the
doctors to assist in exam rooms, patient care, laboratory analysis and
client education. |
